San Juan River spring clean up

Farmington

Ducks Unlimited, a wetlands and waterfowl conservation organization, hosted a river cleanup on April 5 at the San Juan River.

They cleaned up about 200 pounds of trash from near the Munoz Day Use Area.
Nice work!
The volunteers cleaned up the Quality Waters and Upper Flats area below Navajo Dam, which are popular spots for duck hunting.
The San Juan Basin chapter treasurer Jason Clark has said the group wants to improve the reputation of duck hunting locally.
