Aztec girls, PV boys prevail amid tough battles on soccer field

FARMINGTON – The Aztec girls and the Piedra Vista boys both prevailed amid tough battles on the soccer pitch today at the Aztec Tiger Sports Complex.

Dionne Nelson scored the game-winner in Aztec’s 2-1 overtime victory over Piedra Vista, while the PV boys put away Aztec with about eight minutes left en route to a 3-1 win.

Kirtland girls also victorious

The Lady Broncos beat Rehoboth Christian 2-0 in today’s soccer match at KCHS.

Farmington girls fall at Rio Rancho

The Lady Scorpions were shut out 4-0 in today’s soccer match at RRHS.

PV, Bloomfield volleyball teams drop matches

PV lost in straight sets tonight at Durango, while the Lady Bobcats lost to Montezuma-Cortez, Colorado in straight sets tonight at Bobcat Gym in Bloomfield.
