Farmington, Aztec girls soccer teams settle for 1-1 draw
FARMINGTON – Farmington was just two minutes, 22 seconds away from potentially claiming victory, until Aztec’s Autumn Roundy found the back of the net to force a 1-1 draw Tuesday at Hutchison Stadium.
Roundy gained control of the ball from about 15-20 yards in front of the box. She managed to pull Farmington goalkeeper Jessi Curry out about 5 yards in front of the net. Roundy then cut left around Curry and scored the equalizer.
