FARMINGTON – The Bloomfield Bobcats again played lights out on the both ends of the field, pounding Hope Christian 32-7 in tonight’s homecoming game to stay unbeaten at 5-0.

The Bobcats kept on chasing after Hope Christian quarterback Collin Evans, in and around the pocket.

Bloomfield came through with plenty of big plays upon blitzing, including at least a couple big interceptions by cornerback Bryce Perez.

Perez also returned the ball for a touchdown off a blocked Hope Christian field goal attempt to conclude the first half.

The Bobcats’ defense is averaging just 13.8 points allowed per game.

Bloomfield's Jeremy Burnham (52) grabs hold of Hope Christian's Collin Evans in the pocket, leading to a Bobcats sack, during Friday's homecoming game at Bobcat Stadium in Bloomfield.
