FARMINGTON — Multiple area football teams are still fighting to secure a higher playoff seed in November, and they again reaped the rewards of coming off key district victories in the final New Mexico Overtime Sports Center polls.

Kirtland Central jumped up one spot to No. 4 in the latest 4A rankings, while Aztec moved up two spots to seventh in 4A.

Despite its district loss last Friday at KC, Bloomfield is ninth overall in the 4A poll.
