AZTEC — Kirtland Central’s offense had another blistering performance, as the Broncos stormed past Aztec 56-35 in tonight’s District 1-4A opener for their fifth straight win.

Kirtland, which has scored a whopping 201 points in its last five games, beat Aztec for the first time since 2002.

Despite trailing 13-0 in the opening minutes, the Broncos stormed back in a hurry.

KC created space coming off quick little cross passes or pushing forward on quick handoffs from the backfield.

Players scattered left and right, driving the ball for easy 5- and 10-yard gains, picking the Tigers apart.

Although several different players got their share of touches, running back Cadan Flack tallied five touchdowns.
