Area football teams still ranked
FARMINGTON — San Juan County’s football scene again maintained good standing in the latest New Mexico Overtime Sports Center poll.
Piedra Vista and Farmington are seventh and eighth, respectively, in this week’s 5A poll. Despite Week 4 losses, Bloomfield (No. 6) and Aztec (No. 8) stayed put among the top-10 in the latest 4A poll. Kirtland Central moved back into No. 10 in 4A after defeating PV last week.
Newcomb, which remains the only unbeaten area team, is No. 7 in the latest 2A poll.
