BAYFIELD — Hayden Farmer threw for a Bayfield single-game record of six touchdown passes, and the Wolverine defense held Bloomfield to only two first downs in a 52-0 rout today at Wolverine Country Stadium.

Farmer finished the game eight of 13 passing for 179 yards, six TDs and one interception. Bayfield's previous single-game passing touchdown record was four, held by Shay Beck in 2005.

Bloomfield’s Adam Aguirre, who made the Bobcats' first five tackles, intercepted Farmer's second pass of the game. Bayfield led 6-0 after one quarter, but the offensive line adjusted to Bloomfield's blitzing in a specific gap in the second quarter.

After the change, the offense exploded for 19 points to take a 25-0 lead into halftime.
