FARMINGTON — Frozen Ropes-Florence didn’t let up after drawing first blood in today’s Connie Mack World Series elimination game against Danville, pulling away from the Hoots en route to a 9-1 mercy-rule win at Ricketts Park.

Frozen Ropes led D-BAT Bonesio 2-1 after the first inning of Monday's contest, but lost 9-6. Frozen Ropes had a 3-1 lead on Danville after three innings today, and this time, it didn’t let up.

Frozen Ropes advanced multiple base runners in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring five runs in that frame. It later tacked on the ninth and final run to send the Hoots home.

Frozen Ropes has a bye Wednesday, then will return to the diamond at noon Thursday for the fourth round of the tournament.
