FARMINGTON — The Southern California Renegades’ scoring surge continued right of the gate today at Ricketts Park, pounding the Dallas Tigers en route to a 7-1 victory to start Connie Mack World Series championship bracket play.

The Renegades quickly jumped on the Tigers, scoring their first six runs in the top of the first inning. Southern California stayed in control from there.

Ryan Patterson scored the Tigers’ only run off a passed ball in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The Renegades have scored 31 runs since the pool play round.

Southern California will face the Nashville Knights/Danville Hoots winner at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Dallas will have a bye on Tuesday, but look to get back on track playing in an elimination game at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
