FARMINGTON — The Farmington Frackers’ doubleheader tonight versus the California Jays has been cancelled due to rainy conditions.
According to weather.com, there is a 40 to 50 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. That precipitation is expected to last until early Sunday morning.
“They were talking about the rain coming in (today). We didn’t want to press anything (and risk injuries),” Frackers coach Jared Holley said.
Farmington won the series by taking the first three games.
Farmington resumes practice at 9 am Tuesday at Ricketts Park.
The Frackers (12-0) will host the Strike Zone Cardinals at 7 p.m. Thursday.
