Police: No signs of foul play
FARMINGTON — Farmington police officials announced Friday they had found the body of Nephi Seavey, a 15-year-old Farmington boy missing since Monday.
Seavey's body was found at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday near a dirt road located just south of Piñon Hills Golf Course.
Farmington police spokeswoman Georgette Allen said Friday the death is under investigation, but there were no obvious signs of foul play.
A cause of death has not been determined, Allen said.
"Right now, it's just too early to tell," she said.
Police previously said Seavey left his residence at 1 p.m. Monday without his phone or wallet and failed to show up for work. Local residents posted fliers at businesses throughout the community during the week-long search for him.
