The Daily Times

FARMINGTON — A 30-year-old Farmington man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of drunken driving after causing a collision.

San Juan County Sheriff's Office deputies on Tuesday responded to N.M. Highway 516 and County Road 3275 after a blue minivan pulled in front of a gray Jeep, causing the crash.

The driver and the 6-year-old passenger in the Jeep suffered minor injuries, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

Samuel Blackie, who was driving the minivan, also had minor injuries, the release states.

Blackie was transported to the San Juan County Adult Detention Center and booked on suspicion of drunken driving, his second offense; open container; and failure to yield.
