I am a gifted education teacher at Heights Middle School. We recently completed our unit on Career Research and would like to thank the following community members for coming to speak to our classes about their careers; Kim Bell from Great Harvest Bread Company, Mark Franklin from Farmington Fire Department, Mike Tornow of Sundance Dental Care, Beth McNally of Animas Environmental Services, Korrina Collins-college student, Chris LeSueur-airline pilot, Christina Franklin-physical therapist, and Danielle York from Aztec Ruins. I know it is hard for these busy people to find time to come talk to us but having real people to interview and interact with was the best possible learning experience for the students and they enjoyed it immensely.
