FARMINGTON — The Navajo Housing Authority Board of Commissioners has selected a new CEO for the tribal housing entity.

Craig Dougall was confirmed by board members in a special meeting on July 11 and will start work on Friday, according to an NHA press release.

Dougall has 27 years of experience with tribal housing and real estate development, including serving as executive director for the Yakama Nation Housing Authority in Wapato, Washington, the release states.

Board members look forward to Dougall enhancing NHA and executing its priorities, according to the release.

Dougall succeeds Roberta Roberts, who was appointed interim CEO last year.

Roberts replaced Aneva Yazzie, who stepped down from the position last July after serving 10 years as CEO.
