Bonnie Dallas Senior Center celebrates Mother's Day

FARMINGTON — The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center in Farmington treated mothers to a meal of barbecued chicken, potato salad and coleslaw during its annual Mother's Day lunch this afternoon.

"The noon meal, for a lot of our seniors, is the biggest meal," said Jack Lowery, the adult programs manager for the senior center.

A projector screen displayed the message "Happy Mother's Day" during the event.

Meals are served Friday during the Mother's Day Lunch at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center in Farmington.

Shaidawn Beletso attended the meal with her grandmother.

"She's been coming every year," Beletso said.

She said they enjoy seeing friends and socializing with other people.
