FARMINGTON — The city of Farmington will have a public hearing Tuesday to hear comments about how it has spent Community Development Block Grant funds.

The hearing will be during the 6 p.m. City Council meeting at the municipal complex, 800 Municipal Drive.

Each entity that receives CDBG funds is required to report what it has done with the funds in a Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report. The CAPER evaluates what the city has accomplished during the federal fiscal year, which ran from Oct. 1, 2015, to Sept. 30, 2016.

Projects are required to address priority needs, goals and objectives that were established in a 2014 through 2018 plan, including homelessness, special needs populations, community facilities, infrastructure and low-to-moderate income households.

A draft of the report is available at the city clerk's office and on the city's website,
