Police search for missing Farmington teen

Farmington police are searching for Naomi Ward, 16, who was last seen on April 1.

FARMINGTON — Farmington police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who was last seen April 1.

Naomi Ward attended her morning classes at Piedra Vista High School on April 1, and police believe she left the school at lunchtime, according to a press release from the Farmington Police Department.

Ward is described as a 5-foot-8-inch Hispanic girl who weighs about 125 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a Toronto Blue Jays sweatshirt and black yoga pants, according to the press release.

Farmington police are searching for Naomi Ward, 16, who was last seen on April 1.

The release states that Ward has left home before but has not previously been gone for this long. It also notes that Ward has been "experiencing some emotional difficulties," and her family is concerned for her well-being.
