FARMINGTON – The Habitat Store, which is part of Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity, is celebrating its grand reopening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The grand reopening celebrates the charity resale store's new location at 1915 E. Murray Drive. The store was previously located behind Safeway on West Main Street.

The store changed locations about four months ago, according to store manager Daniel Evans.

"It's a belated grand opening, but it's still a celebration," he said.

Evans said the larger location has allowed the store to expand its inventory while increasing its visibility to the community. An outdoor area will also make it easier for people to donate items to the charity.
