Blaze damages east Farmington home

FARMINGTON – A fire Tuesday morning damaged a home near the intersection of East Main Street and Drinen Lane.

The fire was reported at approximately 6:30 a.m., according to dispatch.

Firefighters took about 20 minutes to extinguish the fire, according to Farmington Fire Department Battalion Chief Andy Ebner.

The residents evacuated the building, and no one was hurt.

Ebner said the blaze caused moderate damage to the interior of the home.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
