'ZooZoo' show will come to San Juan College

Mime, dance music, special effects and actors dressed as polar bears and other animals are featured in the Imago Theatre production of 'ZooZoo' Tuesday night at San Juan College.

FARMINGTON  — Imago Theatre of Portland, Ore., will bring its "ZooZoo" show to the Henderson Fine Arts Performance Center on the San Juan College campus, 4601 College Blvd., at 7 p.m. Tuesday as part of SJC's Silhouette Series.

"ZooZoo" has toured internationally since 2009, and combines mime, dance, music and special effects. Designed to appeal to children, it features fictional polar bears, anteaters, frogs, rabbits, hippos and penguins on stage.

The company was founded in 1979 by Carol Triffle and Jerry Mouawad. The two have produced dozens of shows in that time.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for students, $15 for seniors and $12 for children 12 and younger. They can be purchased at sanjuancollege.edu/silhouette.
