Each year, the tribal enterprise distributes $200,000 to support projects that focus on education and youth development, economic development, energy sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Steve Grey, governmental and external affairs director for NTEC, said in a press release the company is glad to start the application process and to help quality projects that benefit the Navajo people and communities.
A workshop about the fund and process to apply was held on Aug. 24 at San Juan College, and the application process opened on Aug. 27, the release states.
Applications are due at 4 p.m. on Oct. 26 and can be emailed to Melissa Kelly, community affairs coordinator for NTEC, at email@example.com or delivered in person to 4801 N. Butler Ave., Building 2000 in Farmington.
