Free training focuses on state's sunshine laws

FARMINGTON – The New Mexico Office of the Attorney General will conduct free training about the state’s sunshine laws on Friday.

The training is designed to help the public, government agencies and municipalities understand the state’s Inspection of Public Records Act and the Open Meetings Act, according to a press release from the office.

Assistant Attorneys General Mona Valicenti and Joseph Dworak will be among the staff members who will present information during the orientation.

The training will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the X-Rays Room at SunRay Park & Casino, 39 Road 5568 east of Farmington.
