Public invited to two Habitat for Humanity events in San Juan County

FARMINGTON — The Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors is inviting the public to a groundbreaking celebration for its next house.

The celebration will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at 28 County Road 3319 in the Aztec area.

The nonprofit organization will be building a house for Cheryl Dale and her family.

In addition to starting a new house, the Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity is also celebrating one year since its store opened.

There will be a barbecue with live music at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at the store, 714 W. Main St. behind Safeway in Farmington.
