Storytelling festival kicks off two-day run

Annual event presented by library gets underway at Berg Park

Listeners gathered in tents in Berg Park today to be entertained during the annual Four Corners Storytelling Festival presented by the Farmington Public Library.

The festival has been in existence for nearly 20 years and attracts a mix of regional and nationally known storytellers. This year's lineup includes Andy Offutt Irwin, Sunny Dooley, J. Omar Hansen, Lori Prescott Hansen and Anne Rutherford.

Today's activities continued with a pair of evening sessions at the Totah Theater. The event continues from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Berg Park and 6:30 to 8:30 at the Totah Theater. Admission is free. Visit infoway.org or call 505-599-1270.
