Growers Market begins Tuesday sessions this week

Markets will continue through late October at museum

With the growing season now at its height and a wide variety of locally grown produce available, the Farmington Growers Market begins twice-a-week sessions at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot at the Farmington Museum at Gateway Park, 3041 E. Main St.

The Tuesday markets will continue through Oct. 23, along with the regular Saturday markets that take place from 8 a.m. to noon and last through Oct. 27. In addition to fresh produce, the market also features other locally produced foods and products. The Farmington Growers Market was named the 2018 Farmers Market of the Year by the New Mexico Food and Policy Council.
