FARMINGTON — In September, the City Council approved refinancing bonds to help pay for several projects, including the Complete Streets downtown revitalization project and the expansion of the city's river trails system.

Some of those projects will be discussed during a City Council meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 800 N. Municipal Drive.

Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs officials hope to begin work on the trails expansion prior to the refinancing of the bonds, according to the agenda packet. The PRCA has asked for a resolution that would allow it to be reimbursed up to $500,000 for any work that takes place prior to the bond funds being made available.
