FARMINGTON — Law enforcement officials today continued searching for a missing resident from the Navajo Dam area.

Candance Beecroft, 48, left her residence in Navajo Dam at approximately 1 p.m. Friday and has not been seen since, according to a press release from the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.

Beecroft is described as a 5-foot-2-inch woman with blond hair who weighs about 140 pounds, the release states.

Because of recent medical issues, Beecroft is considered a "missing endangered" person, according to the release.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office searched for Beecroft on Saturday night. Detectives were joined by San Juan County volunteer firefighters to continue the search on Sunday in the area of Country Road 4065 and N.M. Highway 511.

A team from New Mexico Search and Rescue resumed the search today.

As of 5 p.m. today, the Sheriff's Office reported Beecroft had not been located.

Anyone with information about Beecroft is asked to call the San Juan County Communications Authority at 505-334-6622.
