Concert to raise money for Masada House
FARMINGTON – A concert Saturday night will raise money for the Masada House.
Doors will open for the sixth annual Music for Masada concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington St. The concert is free, but donations will be collected at the door, and there will be a silent auction in the lobby, according to Jessica Stopani, the executive director of the Masada House.
The Masada House is a transitional living program for women who are recovering from addiction. The facility opened in November 2011, and Music for Masada is one of the annual fundraisers.
Local bands including After Midnight, the Deadbeats, Island Style and Breathin' will perform, as well as several solo artists, according to Stopani.
