Graduates from Career Prep and Rocinante high schools celebrated

Career Prep High School graduates celebrated commencement on May 22 at the Phil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center in Shiprock.

Thirty-four graduates from Career Prep High School celebrated commencement during a ceremony on May 22 at the Phil Thomas Performing Arts Center in Shiprock.

Trevor James lead the Pledge of Allegiance in English and Chantal Brown lead it in Navajo. Maya White led the crowd in a moment of reflection. Joseph Philips introduced the platform guests. 

Salutatorian Rhiannon Wagner and Valedictorian Trina Bruce addressed the crowd. Jacey Tsosie lead the honoring of parents. Jerome Frank and Danielle Werito led the students in the tassel ceremony.

Fifty-four graduates from Rocinante High School celebrated commencement during a commencement ceremony on May 22 at the Farmington Civic Center. 

Valedictorian Aliz Garcia and Salutatorian Elizabeth Walsh addressed the crowd. Bryanna Aguero, Brandon Begay, Shondean Dunn, Taylor Gould, Dakota Hoyt, Katherine Morgan, Esteban Rodriguez, Elizabeth Walsh and Jessica Zuniga were the students speakers.
