The National Dance Institute New Mexico collaborated with students from Atsá Biyáázh Community School in Shiprock to perform "Think! A Math-Magical Journey" on Friday.

The show is the most recent production by NDI New Mexico. It teaches students mathematics in a creative and fun way by incorporating the arts.

More than 100 students from kindergarten and from third to sixth grades, along with their teachers, spent two weeks learning dance from NDI New Mexico staff.

This is the 15th year that NDI New Mexico has worked with students in Shiprock. The performance was part of its statewide outreach program.
