FARMINGTON – The San Juan College staff is presenting two events for parents to learn more about the college's dual-credit program.

A parents night is planned for 6 p.m. Tuesday on the SJC West Campus at 69 Country Road 6500 in Kirtland. The meeting will provide interested students and parents information on the dual-credit opportunities and how to register for classes.

Students enrolled in public, private, public charter or Bureau of Indian Education schools can enroll, as well as home-school students. Through the dual-credit program, students can receive high school credit and college credit hours.

San Juan College dual-credit core classes are eligible to transfer to in-state colleges and universities.

A second dual-credit parents night will be presented at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 in the 9000 rooms of the Henderson Fine Arts Center on the SJC main campus at 4601 College Blvd. in Farmington.
