Schools canceled due to storm

FARMINGTON — Local school districts have canceled class today due to the weather.

Farmington, Bloomfield, Aztec and Central Consolidated school districts all made the call as snow  continued to fall in the area.

San Juan College is operating on a two-hour storm delay.

Navajo Preparatory School announced that it will have an early release because of weather. Buses will leave the school at noon today.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that will be in effect until noon.
