FARMINGTON — The Central Consolidated School District is seeking public input on the district’s facility master plan.

The plan is updated every five years, as required by the New Mexico Public School Facilities Authority, said Dennis Fieldsted, the district’s building and construction coordinator.

Fieldsted said examples of projects that could be listed include heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, employee housing and building demolitions.

At the meetings, the public will also learn about projects that remain pending from the current facility master plan, including replacement of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at Shiprock and Kirtland Central high schools, he said.

Questionnaires will be distributed at each meeting and will be posted on the district’s website, ccsdnm.education.

The meetings will be Monday at the Kirtland Central High School cafeteria, Tuesday at the Shiprock High School cafeteria and Wednesday at the Newcomb High School cafeteria. All three meetings will take place from from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
