Farmington police officers have increased patrols at Piedra Vista High School after a social media post asking about a possible threat to the school.

Officers and school officials have not found any evidence to confirm the threat.

“It is our belief that students and staff are safe,” said Gene Schmidt, the superintendent of the Farmington Municipal Schools.
