Man in custody after fatal stabbing in Farmington

FARMINGTON — Farmington police continue to investigate a fatal stabbing that occurred early morning on Glade Lane.
Officers were called to the 1000 block of Glade Lane at about 1:42 a.m. on a report of a stabbing, according to a press release from the department.
When officers arrived on scene, they found several men involved in a fight.
One man was detained and later taken into custody by officers, the release states.
Officers rendered aid to two injured males and both were transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center.
One man died in the emergency room, and the second man remains under treatment at the hospital.
Police Department spokesperson Nicole Brown said the case is still under investigation.
