FARMINGTON — The Farmington Police Department is investigating the death of two men whose bodies were found earlier this week.

A male was found around 9:02 a.m. Tuesday in the wooded area south of 1289 W. Main St. across the street from the Walmart at 1400 W. Main St., according to Farmington police spokesperson Georgette Allen.

Police are waiting on medical records to identify the man. They are also awaiting toxicology results after the autopsy did not reveal a cause of death.

Gregory Dean Pennington, 60, of Colorado, was found dead around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday in a vacant lot along Rabbittbrush Drive.

Police believe his death is not suspicious and are waiting for autopsy results to determine cause of death.

Additionally, Victor Clyde, 47, of Farmington and Peter Willie, 68, of Sweetwater, were found in a nearby location on July 15, 2017, just east of the Mister Car Wash location at 1309 W. Main St.

Clyde died from acute ethanol poisoning, and Willie's cause of death was undetermined, according to Allen.
