FARMINGTON — The FBI and Navajo police are offering a reward for information regarding the death of a Nenahnezad man who was found in July.

The Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety and FBI are investigating the death of Tyrone Tytis Tallman, 43, who was found on July 17, according to a FBI press release.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for Tallman's death.

Tallman was discovered in a canal in Nenahnezad with injuries including trauma to his skull, broken bones and multiple stab wounds.

He is described as a Native American male who weighed 158 pounds with black hair, and brown eyes. He was five feet, eight inches tall.

Tallman was wearing pants, shoes and a pair of socks with "Girls Rule" embroidered on them.

The press release states it is believed Tallman was last seen alive on July 9.
