FARMINGTON — Farmington police are seeking information in a drug-related shooting that took place early Sunday in northeast Farmington.

Officers for the Farmington Police Department were dispatched around 12:24 a.m. Sunday to a residence in the 4700 block of Caribbean Avenue on a report of a shooting, according to spokesperson Georgette Allen.

No one was injured, and detectives found two bullet holes in the garage of the residence, Allen said.

A person of interest has been identified, and the incident appears to be drug related.

Detectives believe a 2006 Ford Escape was parked in the driveway of the residence and may have been struck during the shooting, Allen said. The vehicle left the scene before officers arrived.
