Police investigating suspicious death in west Farmington

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Police Department is investigating a suspicious death that occurred on the city's west side tonight.

Police spokeswoman Georgette Allen said officers were dispatched at about 6:30 p.m. for a welfare check in an area near Piedras Street and Robin Avenue.

Allen said when officers arrived at the scene, they found a man dead.

Another man was transported to the police station for questioning, she added.

The incident is in the early stages of investigation, and no other information was available, she said.
