Police investigating possible homicide in Farmington park

FARMINGTON — The body of a woman who was found dead in a Farmington park early Sunday showed signs of trauma. Police are investigating the case as a homicide, according to a Farmington Police Department press release.
Farmington officers were dispatched at 7:06 a.m. Sunday to 901 Glade Lane on reports of an injured female lying in Brook Haven Park West, according to the press release.
The woman was dead when officers arrived on scene. Police have not yet identified the Native American woman.
