FARMINGTON — A 33-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon in a vehicle wreck after being ejected from his car.

James McClain of Flora Vista was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries, according to Farmington Police Department spokeswoman Georgette Allen.

Farmington police were dispatched to the 100 block of South Browning Parkway around 2:49 p.m. Sunday to a vehicle wreck.

McClain was driving south on Browning Parkway when he accelerated and lost control of the Ford Mustang he was driving when it struck a curb, according to Allen.

The car rolled multiple times and McClain was ejected from the vehicle. He was the only occupant of the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

Police don't believe alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor to the wreck and are waiting for the results of a toxicology report, Allen said.
