FBI seeks information about body near Chaco

FARMINGTON — The FBI and the Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are investigating the death of a 34-year-old Native American man whose body was discovered on a county road.

Alan Jim was found at 4:53 a.m. Feb. 7 in the southbound lane of County Road 7900, which is about six miles south of U.S. Highway 550 near Chaco Culture National Historical Park, according to a FBI press release.

Jim died of blunt force trauma to his head and upper body, according to the release.

The FBI is seeking information from people who may have seen Jim shortly before his death or any information regarding his cause of death.
