FARMINGTON — A Bloomfield man arrested last month for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography also has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child through copying or manufacturing child pornography.

The charges stem from cloud storage websites through which 28-year-old Andrew Long allegedly shared child pornography, according to a press release from the San Juan County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives analyzing a phone they believe belongs to Long found more than 400 images and videos on cloud storage websites that the phone's browsing history indicated he had visited, according to the press release. The majority of those images and videos contained child pornography, the press release states.

Long allegedly sent links to the cloud storage websites over group chats, according to the press release.

Long was arrested on Dec. 30 after an investigation that started in Montana led investigators to him.
