Bloomfield police search for suspect in stabbing

FARMINGTON — The Bloomfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a triple stabbing on Saturday night.

The police department posted on its Facebook page that it was asking for help locating Kenneth Alcon, 24.

As of 4 p.m. today , Alcon had not been apprehended, according to Bloomfield police Chief Randy Foster.

The Facebook post says police are looking for Alcon, whose alias is "Kdawg," in connection to a triple stabbing Saturday night in the 300 block of North Frontier Street in Bloomfield. Bloomfield Police Sgt. Darren Brown said three people were stabbed at approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday. He said they were transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center. No information has been released about their conditions.

An arrest warrant charging Alcon with three counts of aggravated battery has been issued, Brown said

Brown said the stabbing is still under investigation, and more people could later be named as suspects. No arrests had been made as of 4 p.m.

Court records show Alcon has previous felony convictions, including aggravated fleeing of a law enforcement officer in connection to a 2011 crash resulting in injuries. He also pleaded guilty to aggravated battery in 2012, according to court records.
