AZTEC — Police have issued a warrant for an Aztec business owner accused of fraud.

Rhonna Tenorio was charged Tuesday in Aztec Magistrate Court with third-degree felony fraud on allegations she stole money from Clayton Manufacturing Homes.

Gabriel Watkins told an Aztec police officer in February that Clayton Manufacturing Homes purchased a building last fall from Tenorio's company, America's Best Steel Buildings, at 606 N.E. Aztec Blvd. in Aztec, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Clayton Manufacturing Homes provided Tenorio $6,377 for the building, but Tenorio never delivered the building, the warrant states. She allegedly agreed to return the money, according to the warrant, but Watkins said she never did.

Tenorio also allegedly owes the company $10,507 for another building that was ordered from America's Best Steel Buildings but never delivered, the warrant states.

A phone number for America's Best Steel Buildings was disconnected.

Tenorio's bond was set at $25,000.
