Police seek suspect in drive-by shooting

FARMINGTON – Police continued on Tuesday to investigate a drive-by shooting reported Monday in north Farmington.
Farmington police spokeswoman Georgette Allen said Tuesday police have not identified a suspect, who was described as a Hispanic or Native American man wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey.
The suspect allegedly fired multiple shots at a group of people at about 8:35 p.m. near College Boulevard and Hood Mesa Trail. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police initially described the getaway vehicle as a white Toyota Corolla, but Allen said Tuesday the vehicle may be a different make and model.
She said the victims of the shooting could not identify the suspect.
A 21-year-old man was arrested last week in connection to a drive-by shooting at Brookside Park, 1915 N. Dustin Ave.
Allen said there was no evidence linking the two shootings.
