FARMINGTON — Police on Monday night were searching for a car that may have been involved in a drive-by shooting.

A man in a white Toyota Corolla with tinted windows fired multiple shots at a group of people at about 8:35 p.m. near College Boulevard and Hood Mesa Trail, said Farmington police spokeswoman Georgette Allen.

No one was injured in the shooting, Allen said.

She said there appeared to be several people in the car, along with the alleged shooter.

Allen said police believe the suspect was a Hispanic or Native American man who was wearing a Chicago Bulls basketball jersey at the time of the incident.

The car left the scene and headed south on College Boulevard, Allen said.
