FARMINGTON – The San Juan County Sheriff's Office is looking for suspects in an attempted robbery Saturday at the Farmington Flea Market.

The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. Saturday when two men allegedly tried to steal a knife from a vendor at the market, 701 E. Main St. One of the men reportedly threatened the vendor with a knife. The vendor then drew a gun, according to the sheriff's office.

The second suspect allegedly also drew a gun. Sheriff's office Detective Lt. Kyle Lincoln said no shots were fired. The two men reportedly left in a gray truck.

The suspects are described as an older man with a white beard wearing a baseball cap and gray jacket, and a man wearing a black, hooded jacket and sunglasses.
