AZTEC — A 42-year-old Bloomfield man is accused of repeatedly molesting a close teenage relative beginning when the boy was 3 years old.

Sean Pollock made an initial appearance Friday in Aztec Magistrate Court on 14 counts of criminal sexual penetration of a child, a first-degree felony.

Pollock is being held at the San Juan County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

He has not yet retained legal representation, according to court records.

The now-13-year-old boy first disclosed to his doctor on Jan. 29 that Pollock had forced him to perform oral sex, according to the arrest warrant affidavit.

The boy reported to criminal investigators 14 incidents when Pollock sexually abused him, the affidavit states. He told the investigators Pollock often told the boy he would only be able to play video games or use a computer if he performed oral sex on him, the affidavit states.

The boy said he remembered waking on several occasions to Pollock performing oral sex on him, according to the affidavit. He said he also once engaged in anal sex with Pollock.

He said the most recent incident was two months ago, according to the affidavit.

The boy said most of the abuse occurred at a rented apartment in Bloomfield.

Pollock is set to appear at a preliminary examination hearing on March 3.
